Kendall performed the song in full during the March 24, 2017 episode of his Facebook livestream and podcast, Koffee Time with Kendall, explaining that all lyrics aside from Cole’s original hook were co-written by the band. Mixer Miles Walker later confirmed the track as an outtake from Elevate. File naming details suggest the production may be credited to Damon Sharpe and/or OFM.
