“So What” is an unreleased track that was originally recorded for Big Time Rush’s debut album, BTR. In a 2010 interview with Popstar Magazine, Logan Henderson mentioned the song, explaining that he recorded it on his own and described it as being about having fun and going with the flow. Despite this, the song was left off the final album tracklist and has never been officially released by the band. The identities of the song’s writers and producers have not been disclosed.

In 2021, an incomplete demo of the track surfaced online through unofficial channels. Henderson performs the lead vocals for most of the demo, except for the bridge, which still features placeholder vocals from an unidentified singer. James Maslow contributes backing vocals in the chorus, and Carlos PenaVega can be heard speaking at the end of the recording.
