“Young Love” is an unreleased/demo song recorded by Big Time Rush, written by Lars Halvor Jensen, Tim McEwan, and Jess Cates. A full-band demo of the song, a straightforward teen-pop love ballad performed by all four members, surfaced online in April 2013 after leaking on Tumblr. Metadata associated with the demo lists the recording year as 2011. Although the track was ultimately scrapped by Big Time Rush, it later found new life with Irish pop duo Jedward, who recorded and released it as a single in 2012 and used it as the title track for their third studio album the same year. Jedward’s version was produced by Danish production team Deekay, who may have also been involved in Big Time Rush’s recording.
